Our dear Smartie was rescued from a public pound.
She really did suffer as we think she was attacked by other dogs. She was so sad and really did not trust anyone.
We took her under the Happy Paws wing and slowly but surely she regained her trust.
She is now living the dream with a wonderfully caring family.
Smartie is one of the lucky few who get that second chance - the sad fact is we have so many dogs under our care.
We are so grateful for the love and support we receive from our wonderful supporters.
Hope was found tied up and starving behind a building. She was so thin, frightened and very confused.
We got her to safety and the rest they say is history ❤️.
She is now safe and loved with a family to call her own.
What makes it even more special is she has a new brother and sister, Buddy and Tilly, who are also Happy Paws kids.
As a charity we strive to give our rescues the very best to make up for all the cruelty they have suffered and Hope now can live her best life and we could not be happier 🥰.
Thank you all for your kind and continued support.
Together we are making a difference 💕.
Lisa spotted Fergal living at a rescue centre. She knew she had to help him as he had been abandoned and she could tell he’d had a hard life.
He's a real gentleman who loves to be brushed, stroked and cuddled ❤️.
So off he went to foster care - where he waited until he could travel.
He is now setting into his forever home and his family adore him already.
It’s because of all the amazing support we receive we are able to rescue dogs like Fergal and it’s thanks to us all working together their lives are transformed.
Dusty was found starving and living on a rubbish dump.
He had been cruelly abandoned and was struggling to survive.
We were asked to help and now , thanks to all the wonderful support we receive, he will live his best life ❤️.
He is now living the dream with his new furry family, Pip and Emily (who are both HP kids) and Kiki.
Buddy’s story is one of the worst cases we have had to deal with. He was found at the back of a cage, laying down - well dying!
He was so thin, he had been left to starve.
Thanks to a wonderful lady who spotted him and alerted us it was action stations and the Happy Paws rescue machine went into full flow to save his life.
He has now joined his family and they adore him.
He is such a gentle soul ❤️.
Thanks to your kind and continued support he now has a great future ahead of him.
Together we are making a difference 💕💕💕.
Pip’s personal journey was long and challenging. She was dumped as a baby as she had an eye injury.
Happy Paws took her on without hesitation and we did all we could to save her eye but it was too damaged and had to be removed.
As Pip grew her personality shone through, she accepted her disability and thanks to her foster carer she thrived.
Pip now has the most loving family, three lovely furry siblings - Emily and Dusty (who are also a HP rescues) and Kiki - above all she will never feel alone again.
What a wonderful rescue of such a special girl.
Elsa was attacked by a shopkeeper when she was begging for food!
She was so frightened and hungry - why can’t people just be kind to these precious souls? They simply have no compassion,
But her life changed when Happy Paws agreed to help her.
She recovered well and now she is with a very loving family who will care for her and allow her to live her best life.
Sweet Mindy was abandoned - she was simply exhausted when we found her - but that day her life changed forever.
She received all the vet care she needed and was off to foster where she learnt to trust again.
Mindy is now living a simply wonderful life with a wonderful family.
She has joined 2 other Happy Paws kids who are now her sister and brother.
It just does not get any better. Mindy is certainly one of the lucky ones.
Together we are making a difference.
